Melissa and Dave – Teaser

Melissa and Dave’s day was beautiful!  It was slightly chilly, but I was SO thankful it didn’t rain!!  I started off at Melissa’s parent’s house, where her gown was hanging in the window.  The dress had exquisite beading all over, and looked even prettier on Melissa!  The girls finished getting ready and then watched ‘Goonies’ (yup!) while waiting for the limo to arrive.  We arrived at St. Barbara’s and took a few portraits before hiding away in the back.  It was actually the room where the Priest got ready, but he didn’t seem to mind!  Reverend Ward was so wonderful, we loved working with him!  We introduced ourselves and as we always do, asked if there were any restrictions.  With a twinkle in his eye, he replied “just don’t get too close to me, or I’ll kick you in the shin.”  Brian said that it seemed like a fair deal to him.  Rev Ward responded with “well, you don’t know how hard I can kick.”  After the ceremony, we went to the Collier Municipal building for portraits.  There was an awesome tank and a gazebo for us to use.  It was getting very chilly, so we headed out to the reception at Fairview Sunset Room.  The room was decorated beautifully, everything was adorned with cherry blossoms!  In lieu of a traditional cupcake, she had vanilla and chocolate cupcakes that were decorated with cherry blossoms.  The best man’s speech was hilarious, and pointed out that if you didn’t know someone’s name, just call them “Dave” and you had a good chance of being right (the groom, Bride’s father, and Groom’s father were all named Dave).  Our photo booth was a huge hit at the reception, everyone loved going in it, and things definitely got a little crazy by the end of the night!  We had a lot of fun with Melissa and Dave (and Dave, and Dave) and can’t wait to share more images with you!!
