Once again, where has the time gone? Alyssa and Jeremy had a beautiful wedding last Saturday! The weather was gorgeous, and the wedding party was so much fun! We arrived at the reception venue, the Polish Falcon Club in Mount Pleasant, to set up the photo booth. The hall was already decorated beautifully! There were sweet paper lanterns and lights donning the ceiling as well as an archway with lights and tulle at the entrance. The great part about the hall being set up was that we could take some time to photograph all of the details ahead of time. Usually by the time we get to the reception with the bridal party, the guests have already been there for some time and everything isn’t perfect and pristine anymore. We took advantage of the opportunity and took pictures of their cookies, centerpieces, and other details. The cake was already there too- it was beautiful and enormous! I later learned that a family friend made the cake, what talent!
I met Alyssa at her folks’ house for some portraits with her, her girls, and her family before heading off to the church. Meanwhile, Brian met the guys at the church. During the ceremony, the officiant gave us free reign for photography, even allowing us up on the altar to take images. The ceremony was beautiful and included a beautiful song sung by the bride’s sister, Vanessa. After the ceremony and receiving line, we headed to Jacob’s Creek Park for more portraits. Mother Nature continued to cooperate with us, the weather was absolutely perfect! We were able to spend a lot of time at the park having fun with the bridal party. They were a great group; we had so much fun working with them!
It was soon time to head the reception, where R&R Productions was entertaining the crowd. Interestingly, the DJ was also the officiant at the ceremony! I never imagined that one person would have two seemingly different skill-sets, but he was amazing at both officiating and keeping the party rocking! He played a lot of fun games with the crowd and had an enormous array of props for the guests as well. Another cool thing he did was frame a CD copy of Jeremy and Alyssa’s first dance song, sort of like a gold record type thing with the name of the song, their names and the date. He gave it to the couple as a gift so that they would never forget their first dance. It was something I’d never seen before and was very sweet.
And then there was the photo booth! They kept the photo booth rocking all night; I don’t think there was ever a time when it wasn’t being used. Everyone really got into it and had a lot of fun. The props were especially popular; everyone was really getting into it. I always love to compare the first photos of the night to the last photos of the evening. At first, people aren’t really sure what to do and pretty much stay stationary and smile for all four pictures. By the end of the night people really let loose. It’s probably a combination of the free bar, the thought that no one can see what they’re doing in the booth, and the challenge of trying to “out-do” your last photo booth session. Everyone had a lot of fun with the booth, and our attendant had a lot of fun too!
Once again, the night was over before we could blink an eye! We’re going through all of Alyssa and Jeremy’s photos now and can’t wait to share them! I just adored both families; everyone was so sweet and wonderful to work with all day.

Until next time!
